What we collect

Media you upload may be accessible to others via shared links depending on your visibility settings. Do not upload content you consider sensitive.
Legal bases (GDPR)
- Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) to provide the Crescendo service.
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) for security, fraud prevention, and abuse mitigation.
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) where required (for example, optional notifications).
Retention
- Account data, profiles, UGC, and media are kept until you delete your account.
- Pending uploads are removed after the expiration window.
- Password reset codes expire quickly and are deleted after use.
- Push tokens are removed when you disable notifications or delete your account.
- Operational logs are kept for a limited period (for example, 30 days).
Processors and sharing
We use trusted service providers that process data on our behalf:
- Supabase (database, authentication, storage, and edge functions)
- Vercel (hosting this website)
- Apple and Google (app distribution)
International transfers
Data may be processed outside your country depending on hosting regions. We rely on approved safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.
Your rights
- Access, rectification, and deletion of your data
- Portability of your data
- Objection and restriction in certain cases
- Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
You can delete your account from the app in Settings > Data & Account or contact privacy@crescendo.app for assistance.
